Ulster Camogie Chairperson Deirdre Mc Grath officially launched the Ulster Camogie Championships on Friday night at the Armagh City Hotel.
Speaking at the launch with players from the participating Counties she stated;
“I am sure we will see some fantastic action and keenly contested matches over the coming weeks and this will build upon the great success we had in Ulster last year”
Deirdre encouraged supporters in all clubs and counties in Ulster to turn out in great numbers to promote the game of camogie and make 2023 Ulster Championship a highlight in the Camogie Calendar.
We are looking forward to the Commencement of our Championship fixtures on 29th April where Antrim will take on Derry in Portglenone with the winner meeting Down on the 13th May. The Intermediate Final will be contested by Armagh and Cavan while the Junior tie will involve Tyrone and Antrim II. We wish all the counties good luck in their championship campaign.
Following the Launch, Deirdre Mc Grath announced Armagh City Hotel as Official Main Sponsor and thanked Hotel Manager Henk Compier (Pictured above) for the support in raising the profile of Camogie in Ulster over the next 3 years.
