Please find details here regarding unit’s expression of interest in the hosting of Camogie Association administrated ‘Introduction to Coaching Gaelic Games’ Courses within the 2025 schedule.
Units wishing to host this foundation level award course should carefully consider the below criteria.
The club unit Secretary will be the primary point of contact in the scheduling of a course delivery.
Camogie Association ICGG Host Unit Facility Criteria 2025
These criteria have been devised to ensure Camogie Association administrated Coach Education is delivered in only suitable venues where an effective learning environment is provided.
- In expressing interest in the hosting of a course delivery, the club/county unit must be in a position to provide a suitable indoor learning facility, given the practical nature of this coach education offering.
- The area required for hosting of this ICGG course are detailed within question 11 of the below form. Units should not express interest in the hosting of this course if the noted facility size is not in place.
- If the host facility is off the club unit site (community facility/school facility), please ensure clearance and confirmation is gained from the facility provider prior to the filling out of the below form.
- Within question 13 of the below form, the host is asked to provide a minimum of two dates where suitable facility access is available. This is required to allow for flexibility in national schedule alignment.
Host Unit Participant Enrolment Information
- Upon successful scheduling of the unit’s course delivery, the host unit point-of-contact will be contacted directly on week beginning 20/01/25.
- Host Units will be offered two complimentary places upon the course.
- Host Units will receive online enrolment link to the course 48hrs prior to all ICGG Schedule Course enrolment links being circulated and promoted across Camogie Association medias (week beginning 03/02/25).
- Host units will not have responsibilities attached to the management of course enrolments.

Note: Confirmation of course deliveries will be determined upon geographical spread of course deliveries, other Gaelic Games family schedules, and The Camogie Association’s Coach Education delivery capacity.
